Steering Group
The Steering Group was formed by Deddington Parish Council to project manage the neighbourhood planning process.
Its members are:

The Steering Group held an initial meeting on 5th June 2013 and working groups were established, subject to the oversight of the Steering Group, to address the following themes:
Housing
Environment
Community
Movement & Transport
Business & Economy
The role of the Steering Group is:
- setting strategic objectives for the neighbourhood planning process;
- monitoring the work of the topic groups;
- organising the consultation events;
- managing publicity (e.g. website, 'drop-in' events, Deddington News);
- to keep abreast of external developments;
- to liaise with the local planning authority, Cherwell District Council;
- to oversee the evolution of the emerging policies;
- to produce the definitive Neighbourhood Plan documents.
The Steering Group has meet on a monthly basis throughout the neighbourhood planning process.

Deddington News: Keeping the Community in Touch
Since the launch of the Deddington Neighbourhood Plan, the Steering Group has kept the community informed of progress and milestones in the consultation process by articles in the Deddington News, a free newsletter delivered monthly to the whole Parish.
